Botanical Name: Dypsis Lutescens
The Areca Palms have smooth, sometimes golden trunks that are reminiscent of bamboo clumps. Their fronds are narrow and full, similar of bamboo leaves. They have a slow to moderate growth rate. These palms don't need much pruning. Wait to remove any dying fronds until they are mostly brown, as they still can play a role in the plant's overall health.
Bright, filtered sunlight, but they also can tolerate full sun.
Water them often enough to keep the soil lightly moist in, and allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings.
